Facilities Engineers are tearing their hair out! Senior members are retiring; “newbies” must be trained to fill the vacancies. Add in, NFPA-70E’s 2015 revision expanding safety, job skill training, and supervision requirements for electrical workers. And nobody has “too much money” in their budgets to spend for this.
Mr. Harkness is frequently asked, “In today’s world, can we find a sensible training program to satisfy safety and job training?” The answer, “Yes!”
The challenges are great. Meeting them will take finding reasonable strategies that can appropriately satisfy both requirements: training and safety.
In this presentation, the attendee will learn different strategies that can be applied to solve the increased safety requirements and replacement training needs. Mr. Harkness will use his real life safety and training experiences and safety knowledge to show how to develop, present, audit, and certify technical training programs to meet requirements of NFPA 70E-2015. These program examples will guide the attendee as they meet the challenge of safety and training needs for their workplace.
