Was a Staff Sergeant in the Marines in which he specialized in top secret communication and weapon systems upgrades to AV-8B Harrier Jets. Vestas then recruited him as a resource technician in which he traveled around the US and Canada working on the worlds largest wind turbines. Performing repairs that had never been attempted before. After gaining enough technical experience, he helped startup a wind turbine maintenance company. As a hiring manager, he had a hard time finding candidates with the right mix of technical skills. That is when he went into the education industry. He helped a few colleges develop their wind energy curriculum. He ended up staying at Ecotech Institute where he has taught wind turbine fundamentals, wind turbine systems, troubleshooting, fluid power, wind safety, industrial and residential wiring. He helped improve these courses by creating new labs and custom textbooks. He is very passionate about being part of an industry that is not only good for our local economy but also the world.
