Sarah Butler is a Colorado native, whose interest in the built environment began at an early age with building forts and lean-tos in the forest behind her childhood home. While attending the University of Colorado’s School of Environmental Design, she participated in a design-build program where she experienced the energy and excitement of a jobsite for the first time. After graduating at the top of her class, she went on to work as a laborer on an architectural sheet metal crew, gaining practical construction experience. She now works for Turner Morris, a commercial roofing company, where is she is the first female Assistant Project Manager in the company’s 24 year history. She lives in Breckenridge with her husband, Ben, and their mutt, Perch.
